VuCast and Grupo Bel Launch New Digital Wireless Service in Brazil

First of its kind digital broadcast network successfully deployed in top three major markets

Palo Alto, Calif. – Jan. 19, 2010 – VuCast Media, Inc. and Grupo Bel today announced the launch of their private digital wireless network throughout the top tier Brazil markets. Grupo Bel commenced operation of the VuCast-based metro-wide wireless network in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte regions after successful pilot deployments supporting over a thousand VuCast digital data receivers. The VuCast solution offers simultaneous one-to-many delivery of rich media content to a virtually unlimited number of end-points within a metro area at a fraction of the cost of traditional cellular data services.
